Hi everyone!
In class this week, we talked about the Simple Present and how to talk about our schedules and/or routines.
We learned about four different celebrations around the world which are: Independence Day (in America), Diwali (in India), Carnival (in Italy) and San Fermin (in Spain).
We then talked about what you do for Chuseok (Korean holiday) every year. We studied about Adverbs of Frequency: [always, sometimes, often, never], and Time Order: [first, (then, next, after), finally].
This Friday (September 23rd), I will teach my 9:00-11:00 class but I won't be teaching my 11:00-1:00 class because you have a class trip. If some of the students from my second class are not going on the trip and want to join my first class, please come at 9:00.
For all those student who miss my class on Friday (September 23rd), please watch the PowerPoint Video on my website this weekend!

Week 2
In Unit 1(of the World English book), we practiced how to introduce yourself as well as other people. We also studied the Simple Present and the Present Continuous, how to answer "Yes/No" questions, and how to use "Adjectives". I'm very happy so far with the participation from both my Freshmen classes. I think you are all doing a good job!
I hope you enjoy the Chusok holiday. I have attached a short message for you!

Week 1
Hello everyone!
I'm looking forward to teaching both my Freshmen English classes this semester! I hope you all enjoy my class and improve your English at the same time!
During the semester, I will be keeping this blog for all my Freshmen English students to keep up-to-date on everything I'm doing in class. Also, I can post things like videos which will help you understand my website and other technology.
I know some of you are better at multimedia (especially computers) than others so if one of your classmates is having a hard time understanding, please help him/her ok?
In our first class, I asked you to sign up for my website (http://tylereslclass.info). I think it is a little difficult so I want to attach a video for you to watch. Please click here for the link.
After you sign in, I also want you to edit your profile and upload a picture. I made a second instructional video to help you. Please click here for the link.
